Presently, it is being overhauled into an up-to-date modern shape under the leadership of the new management with the president Martin Kas\u00edk \u2013 took their positions in March 2008. The whole society strives to enhance Chopin festival in Mari\u00e1nsk\u00e9 L\u00e1zn\u011b artistically and give it the highest possible prestige. Furthermore, it would like to assist and support young talented pianists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our society is the member of the International Federation of Chopin Societies (IFCS) and as such is the only one in the Czech Republic on the UNESCO list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The society prepares the festival and other cultural and social events in close and fruitful cooperation with the Polish Institute and with the traditional co-organizer Municipality Mari\u00e1nsk\u00e9 L\u00e1zn\u011b.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The society has its seat in Mari\u00e1nsk\u00e9 L\u00e1zn\u011b (House Chopin, Hlavn\u00ed 47, 353 01).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fryderyk Chopin Society in Czech Republic belongs to the oldest of its kind in the whole world (it was founded in 1959).
